Professional Experience
Jeff has been working as a paralegal at Roy, Simmons, Smith & Parsons, P.S., since 2010.
Formerly a public school teacher and local government planner, Jeff recently transitioned
into paralegal work.
Jeff also worked as a speechwriter for many years, primarily for business executives in the finance and health care industries. Jeff is the author of two books, most notably The Elements of Speechwriting and Public Speaking, published by Macmillan.
Education
Jeff received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington, and a Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Boise State University in Boise, Idaho.
Jeff has also received an Advanced Paralegal Certificate from Edmonds Community College in Edmonds, Washington.
Personal Activities
Jeff considers himself a typical native of Washington State. “I read books, drink coffee, and have a closet full of fleece.”
